1. Watch The Cavs Play the Nets Sunday 3/25 at 1:00PM at the Barclays Center (We include 2 great tickets to the game as part of registration)

FAQ 1- What Time Will We Get on The Court?
The Nets Vs Cavs game is at 1:00 PM so it should end some time between 3:15-3:30 PM. We'll get on the court 60 minutes after the game and the clinic will last 1 hour.
FAQ 2- Will We be Able to Get Autographs and Pictures with the NBA Player?
Yes. The NBA Player will be signing autographs and taking pictures for every student that’s involved with the clinic.
FAQ 3- How do I Get My Tickets?
Tickets will be sent to you by email on Friday at 6 PM. If you sign up after Friday they'll be sent to you by email within a few hours of your purchase.
FAQ 4- How Do We Get on the Court for the Clinic?
Instructions will be sent on where you will have to go after the game to get checked into the clinic.
FAQ 5- Are The Tickets Good Seats?
The tickets are very good seats in the bottom 8 rows of the 200 level section corners. Each ticket is $115 face value.

NYC Basketball Kids Camps are the best basketball camps in the city. This Summer we are offering camps at TWO different locations: East Side and West Side. Door-to-door transportation is available for Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, & the Bronx. Let New York’s best coaching staff teach your kids how to be the best player they can be! Camps are open to boys & girls ages 5-17 and are broken up by ages and skill level (5-8, 9-12, 13-17).

ABOUT THE CLYDE'S
The Clydes are NYC's fastest growing AAU program for boys ages 9- 16! Our 6 month Spring-Summer season is structured to allow for a significant number of games and tournaments combined with the best player development anywhere in New York.
UNIQUELY CONVENIENT FOR PARENTS
- Based on extensive conversations with parents, the Clydes are built to make it easy for busy parents.
- Games held on Sundays in Manhattan
- Team practices held Saturdays in Manhattan
- Transportation available for all league games, tournaments, and team practices
- Choose from over 15 different weekly practice times for your optional 2nd practice each week that focuses on player development (options on ues, uws , and downtown both after school and on weekends)
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE 6 MONTHS SPRING-SUMMER SEASON:
- April 14th - October 13th
- 20+ Weekend games (Mostly Sundays) against other local NYC programs.
- Guaranteed at least 1 game played at the Barclays Center
- Qualified Head Coaches: All NYC Basketball Kids Staff have played high levels of basketball and are very skilled at teaching the game.
- Team Practice on Saturdays: Each team will have 1 team practice on Saturday where the focus is on offensive and defensive schemes and development as a cohesive group.
- Player Development Practice (Optional): 1 skill building practice of your location and time choice during the week. We have multiple locations and times for you to choose from. Skill practices can be upgraded to 2, 3, or 4 time per week. The full list will be released prior to the season.
- Full Team Uniforms - Premium Clydes Jerseys and Shorts will be included in the cost

- 9U - An Athlete can not turn 10 until Sept 15th, 2018 or later
- 10U - An Athlete can not turn 11 until Sept 15th, 2018 or later

*Time will vary from week to week with you being assigned to the first or last part of the time for your age group. For ecample if you're in the 9-12 age group sometimes you will play from 3:30-4:30pm and sometimes you will play from 4:30-5:30pm.
Our Sunday league is one of our most popular offerings. The first two weeks will consist of evaluation and player placement and then each week teams will practice with their coach and then play a game. While games will be competitve and fun there will also be a focus on developing skills, sportsmanship, and team work. All teams will be led by one of our amazing coaches which will help to make this a competitive league experience that is also focused on fundamental improvement and player development. If your child is interested in playing competitively in a developmentally appropriate environment this is the program for you.

Free Barclays Center Finals for 2017 Winter Season

We are excited to announce EVERY NYC Basketball League 2017 Winter Division will have its final played on the Barclays Center practice court at no additional charge. The court is in the Barclays Center right across from the Nets Locker Room and each final will include an epic trophy presentation ceremony at center court. Four Corners – Footwork Drill

Four Corners – Footwork Drill
Overview:
This is a great drill for working on jump stops, pivoting, and passing.
It will allow the coach to teach the different kinds of pivots and is a drill the players enjoy doing.
Setup:
The coach must first create a large square in the half-court by placing four cones an even distance apart. There must also be another cone or D-man in the exact middle of the square. You can see where I recommend placing these cones in the diagram.
Split your team up into four groups and send each group to a cone. The cones will be the starting position for each line.
The person at the front of each line has a basketball.
How it Works:
The first thing the coach must do is tell the players which way they’ll be passing (either right or left) and which kind of pivot they should use.
When the coach calls out ‘go’, each player with a basketball dribbles in towards the middle cone, performs a jump stop a couple of feet away, pivots, and then passes to the next line before joining the end of it.
The next player in the that catches the basketball does not start until the coach has called out ‘go’ again.
Coaching Points:
- Each player must be pivoting the same direction so that two balls don’t end up being passed to one line. Do make sure to reverse the direction half way through the drill.
- Use front and reverse pivots and make sure players aren’t traveling.
- Explain to the players it’s better to jump stop with a small hop. The higher they jump, the more off-balance they’ll be when they land.
